June Lentell, 89, of Wiggins, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019, at the Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan, CO.  She was born July 1, 1929, in Memphis, TX to Benjamin & Ollie Underwood.

June married Ronald Lentell on January 27, 1951, in Hutchison, KS.  Prior to retirement, June worked for Safeway Grocery Stores.  She moved to Wiggins some 30 years ago.

June was a member of the Wiggins Community Church.  She enjoyed reading, working in her flower garden, and oil painting.

Survivors include her 3 children, Rod (Laura) Lentell and Michael (Patricia) Lentell all of Wiggins, CO and Becky (Gary) Church of Montrose, CO; 5 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and her parents.

A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the Wiggins Community Church.  The service will conclude at the church.  Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Heer Mortuary & Crematory.  Memorial gifts may be given to St. Jude's Hospital or to the Wiggins Community Church.
