Justo Lopez, 54, died Friday evening, June 15, 2007, in the emergency room of the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan, CO. He was born February 3, 1953, in Lubbock, TX, to Geronimo & Inocencia (Garcia) Lopez. Justo has lived in Morgan County for the past 45 years. He worked as a loader operator at Western Sugar Company prior to his death. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his family, and especially enjoyed his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Bertha, of Log Lane Village; 4 children, Andrea Lopez of Fort Morgan, Justo Lopez Jr., of Denver, Marticia Lopez of Mitchell, SD, and Matthew Lopez of Wisconsin; his step-children, Nancy of Littleton, CO, Marcelino DelaCruz of Roswell, NM, Coral Mendez and Omar DelaCruz both of Fort Morgan, and Rauel DelaCruz of Moab, UT; his brothers & sisters, Maria Barraza, Jesus Lopez, Josie Rodriguez, Margarita Lopez, Elijio Lopez and Isidro Lopez all of Fort Morgan, Candelario Lopez and Lupe Lopez both of Minnesota, Ramona Lopez of Georgia, Francisca Lopez of Greeley and Ramon Lopez of Sterling, CO; and 17 grandchildren. Memorial Gifts may be made in Justo's name in Care of the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 12:30 until 2:00 PM at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. A Rosary Vigil will follow at 2:00 PM, also at the chapel. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 3:00 pm in Memory Gardens in Ft. Morgan. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
