Karen
Beck
May 4, 1946 — Oct 15, 2026
Brush, CO
Karen Beck passed away peacefully on October 15, 2026, at Eben Ezer in Brush, Colorado.
Karen was born in Brush, Colorado, to William and Martha Beck and was raised in Snyder, Colorado. She began her healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Eben Ezer before pursuing further education to become a Respiratory Therapist. Karen later worked at Fort Morgan Hospital, and retired from Morgan Medical, where she faithfully served her community for many years.
Karen enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She loved working on puzzles, reading, fishing, and spending time with family. One of her favorite pastimes was making trips to Black Hawk with her loved ones, and she never passed up the opportunity to buy a lottery ticket. She was also active in her community and enjoyed volunteering through Meet & Eat.
A member of the Eben Ezer staff lovingly gave Karen the nickname “Hot Rod,” a fitting tribute to her independent spirit and constant motion. The name became one of affection and will be remembered fondly by those who knew and loved her.
Karen is survived by her children, Shawn, Corey, Anna (Toby), Mindy, and Jennifer; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, Phyllis Claver; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha Beck; her siblings, Robert, Billy, Joan Ann, Donny, Steve, and her twin sisters; sister-in-law, Marion; and brother-in-law, Jack.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Eben Ezer for the love, compassion, and exceptional care shown to Karen throughout her time there.
Per Karen's wishes, no services will be held.
In leu of flowers please consider a donation in Karen’s name to Eben Ezer’s hair salon or activities department.
