Karen Sue Garcia, 68, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Devonshire Acres in Sterling, CO.  She was born April 6, 1953, in St John, KS to Clifford & Verna Searcy.

Karen married Jeronimo Garcia on October 26, 1980.  Karen was a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom.  She enjoyed reading, listing to music, especially music by Elvis Presley; going to tractor pulls, and spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany; 1 brother Dereke Searcy; 3 grandchildren, Juan, Joey, & Jesse and 1 great grandson, Preston.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter April;  2 sisters, and her parents.

Visitation, rosary service and Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 10, 2021, at 4:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church.  The service will conclude at the church.
