Karie Elizabeth Castro Roman died unexpectedly on July 6, 2018 in Fort Morgan, CO at the age of 29.

Karie is survived by her mother, Kathy Castro Roman in Oakesdale, WA. Also survived by siblings Travis Hall in Oakesdale, WA, Cullen Hall and wife (Tuesday) in East Granby CT, Theresa Hall and fiancé (Scott) in Parker, CO, Ramon Hall and wife (Cassandra) in Brush, CO, Kayla Wilson in Snyder, CO, 9 nieces and nephews, and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father Jesus Castro Roman, and her grandparents Lily and Gerald Wilcox.

Karie was born on December 22, 1988 in Greeley, CO to Kathy and Jesus Castro Roman. She graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 2008.

Karie's Facebook quote "Because I Sparkle, That's Why" was her mantra. Karie was a beautiful, loving, caring, spontaneous, and optimistic young lady that always saw the good in everyone. She had a passion for life, an infectious laugh, and loved her family and friends. She enjoyed playing with children, especially her nieces and nephews. Karie had a love of animals and the outdoors. She also loved to paint, write poems and stories, and shoot and edit photography. Karie had a quiet confidence and made friends everywhere she went.

Her funeral is scheduled for 10:30 am Friday, July 13, at All Saints Church at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center, 122 Hospital Road, Brush, CO, 80723, with a reception to follow at Eben Ezer activity center. Chaplain Ro Fesser will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Karie's life.
