Kathryn E. Laufer (92) of Ft. Morgan, died Sunday evening at the Valley View Villa in Ft. Morgan. She was born June 23, 1914 in Lincoln, NE to Peter and Anna (Rudolph) Harris. She married Henry Laufer March 1, 1936 in Crook, CO. Henry died February 4, 1978. She was a member of the Christ Congregational Church in Ft. Morgan. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Laufer of Aurora, and Arthur Laufer of Colorado Springs, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters, and her parents. A Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 am at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Private interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Sterling.
