Kathy Alston, 58, of Greeley, died Tuesday afternoon at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born February 16, 1948 in Denver to William J. "Jim" and Margaret Kammerer. She married Jay Alston on May 22, 1987 in Johnstown. She and Jay lived in several areas while he was in the Air Force, and finally settled in Greeley. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and most of all she loved visiting with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Jay, and her son Aaron Palmer both of Greeley, her father Jim Kammerer and one sister Janet Doty both of Ft. Morgan, and 1 brother Bill Kammerer of Weldona. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret, and her step-mother Mary. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan, services will conclude at the chapel. Private Inurnment will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
