Katie May Campbell, 81, died Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. She was born May 27, 1926 in Madera County, California to George and Lola (Inman) Perry. Katie married Scott Campbell in Madera, California in 1947. He died in 2001. Katie was a spiritual person and was also very creative. She designed and put together floral arrangements in her flower shop in California. Katie was a "walking angel". She always had a smile and a good word for everyone. When you share your flame you shine forever. "That's our Mom". Survivors include children, Carole Kimes of Northglenn, CO, Ken Campbell of Ft. Morgan, and Anita Falk of Fort Jones, CA, one brother, Bill Perry of Fernley, NV; two sisters, Cle Pate of Silver Springs, NV and Ella May Fox of Cocolalla, ID, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Katie was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings. There will be no local memorial services. Her cremains will be buried in California at a later date.
