Kayla M. Chadwick, 18, a Morgan County resident since 2000 was reported missing on March 27, 2012. She was found June 27, 2013 near Fort Morgan. Kayla was born August 12, 1994, in Palm Springs, CA, to Mark & Robin Chadwick. She was ready to graduate from Fort Morgan High School with the class of 2012. Kayla also attended Morgan Community College during her senior year. She is survived by her mother, Robin Adams of Brush; her father, Mark Chadwick of Delta County, CO; her sister, Ashley Capangpangan of Puyallup, WA; her maternal grandmother, June Osborn of Fort Morgan; maternal grandfather, Don Osborn and his wife Dorothy, of Orchard, CO; and her paternal grandmother, Kathryn Smiley of Delta County, CO. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mitchell Adams. A service to celebrate Kayla's life will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Life Fellowship, 17723 County Road 20 in Fort Morgan. Kayla's family has requested that anyone attending the service wear the color purple, as it was Kayla's favorite color.
