Kegan Josef Robinson left this life on April 13, 2023.

Kegan was born March 8, 1993, in Indio, California. In 1996 the family moved to Arkansas where he began grade school in Dyess, Arkansas, the hometown of Johnny Cash, famous country singer. Kegan was an outstanding student and made the school's Honor Roll every semester in grades K-2. He was on the school basketball team there also.

In 2002 the family moved to Brush, where he attended school until his senior year and earned many certifications in welding.

Upon leaving school, he worked many jobs and earned his electrician apprenticeship while employed with Schmeeckle Construction, building the buffalo slaughter plant here in Brush. At the time of his death, he had just started a new job in LaSalle, CO.

Kegan is survived by his parents, Tom and June Diane Robinson, both of Brush; sister, Judi Gayle Kirkpatrick of Mississippi; brothers, Morgan Robinson of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Clint Buzzy Robbins of Parkin, Arkansas, and James Dalton Robbins of Forrest City, Arkansas; and his grandparents, Frank and Kay Knight. Kegan was living in Akron, CO with his girlfriend, Amber Morgan and her two daughters, Dylana and Ava Mills, and they loved each other very much. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A public viewing will be held Monday, April 24, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 11:00a.m. in Brush Memorial Cemetery.
