Keith Thomas Bothwell passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at his home in Nampa, Idaho. His family provided continuous support throughout the three short weeks it took pancreatic cancer to claim his life. Keith was born on February 9, 1938 to Arthur and Evelyn Bothwell in Evans, Colorado. He married Anna Perkins, the love of his life, on July 14, 1955 in Raton, New Mexico. Keith served in the Navy from 1957 through 1962. Keith wore many hats during his working years. He was an over-the-road truck driver, a store manager, and an employee of the City of Ft. Morgan. In 1998, Keith and Anna retired and moved to Nampa, Idaho. In Idaho, Keith drove a tour bus and shuttled the Boise State Broncos to and from athletic events. Keith's hobbies included collecting model cars, toy tractors, and building and running HO scale trains. He belonged to two railroad clubs in Idaho. Keith was a member of the Masons and he was proud to be a 32nd degree Shriner. Keith and Anna were blessed with three children; Keith Randall, Connie, and Kevin. They enjoyed their eight grandchildren; Jamie, Bo Allen, Brian, Bailey, Kellen, Kelsey, Baylei, and Brezei, and their nine great-grandchildren; Isaac, Tailor, Jaxon, Brady, Zach, Nathan, Olivia, Lucas, and Piper. Keith dearly loved his family, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the pride of his life. All of them dearly loved their Papo. Keith's wife Anna; his children and their spouses Randy and Cindy, Connie and Clark, and Kevin and Karen; his grandchildren and their families; and his great grandchildren survive him. His siblings and their families Judy and Harold Gibson; Linda and Jim West; and Dennis and Stephanie Bothwell also survive Keith. His parents and his three brothers--Robert, John, and Jim, preceded Keith in death. Keith was a kind and gentle man with a quick wit and a charismatic sense of humor. He did not scale mountains, discover gold, or cure cancer, but he anchored his family with love, and we will be forever grateful for sharing life with him. There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, May 17 at 2:00 pm at Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan, Colorado with interment at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise, Idaho.
