Keith A. Chard, 72, longtime Morgan County resident, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush.  Keith was born April 28, 1949, in Marion, OH to Lowell & Betty Chard.

Keith graduated from Brush High School in 1967.  After graduating, Keith joined the US Army where he served as a military policeman until his honorable discharge.  Keith worked as a parts man at the Central Auto Parts (NAPA) store in Fort Morgan for several years.  He later became the full time grandpa caregiver for his grandchildren.  Keith's favorite time was spent with his family, helping in anyway he could.

Survivors include his 2 children, Paul (Megan) Chard) of Hillrose and April (Chad Meyer) Kendall of Loveland, CO; 2 brothers, Earl Chard & Richard Chard both of Brush; 3 sisters, Saundra (Jack) Lake and Bonnie Castrup both of Brush, and Nancy Clark of Greeley and his 7 grandchildren, Peyton, Kylee, Emry, Tatim, Amity, Magdalene, & Barrett.  He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Shirley Adams, & Carol Armstrong & his parents.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Snyder Bible Church.  Military honors will follow the service by the US Army, the American Legion / VFW Honor Guard, and the Patriot Guard.
