After a long, well-lived life, Keith Dwayne Williams, 94, longtime Morgan County resident, passed away at home with loved ones by his side.

Keith was born in Weldona, Colorado to Forest and Gwendolyn (Bottger) Williams and attended Ft. Morgan schools.  He married Alma Jean Schreiner in 1945 and they had sixty-eight years together until her death in 2014.  Keith started working at a young age at Stickney's and managed Rocky Mountain News deliveries while raising his young family.  He purchased the Culligan Water Softener business, and throughout his life, he built and remodeled many homes in Morgan County.

Keith and Jean traveled the world, but always came home to Fort Morgan to one of the homes that the two of them built together. Their passion, though, was turning a one-room cabin at Cedar Cove into a lovely home facing the Big Thompson River where they spent weekends. The home was lost in the Big Thompson flood of 2013.

Keith was preceded in death by his wife Jean, his daughter, Cynthia Uhrick, his son, Michael Williams, his grandson, Michael Loseke, and his son-in-law, Gary Loseke.    He was also preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings:  Mary Ella Ringwald, Francis Williams, C.L. Williams, and Shirley Green.

Survivors include his companion, Jean Reinhart of Loveland; his daughter, Linda Loseke of Long Beach, CA; his grandchildren, Leslie (Rob) Korzen of Loganville,  GA; Lance (Jolie) Uhrick  of Littleton, CO; and Jason (Tanya) Loseke  of Waxhaw, NC; nine great grandchildren, Hannah and Josh Korzen;  Theone, Althea, Evangelique, Genevieve and Guinivere Uhrick;  and Zachary and Morgan Sophia Loseke.  He is also survived by his former son-in-law, Sam Uhrick, and his former daughter-in-law, Lila Williams and her two sons, Darrell and Spencer Schauermann.

Keith was a long-time member of the Elks Club, the Optimist Club, and the United Methodist Church.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
