Kellie Volgamore, 64, formerly of Wheatridge, Colorado, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. After her retirement in 2002, she and her husband, Loyd moved to Weldona in 2003 where they have lived ever since. Kellie was born December 4, 1945 in Golden, Colorado to Robert and Clara (Nichols) Williams. She married Loyd L. Volgamore on September 28, 1963 in Wheatridge. Kellie was a member of the Weldon Valley Presbyterian Church in Goodrich. She was also a member of the Red Hats, Glad Club, 500 Club and a quilting club. Kellie enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. She loved her children and grand children and could be called one of the first "soccer moms" because of all the involvement in her kids' sporting events and practices. She is survived by her husband, Loyd of Weldona, two sons, Greg Volgamore and Doug Volgamore, both of Weldona, one daughter, Marnie Ryan of Arvada and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 10:30 am at the Weldon Valley Presbyterian Church in Goodrich.
