Kenneth Ray Henderson, 81, of Fort Morgan, Colorado passed surrounded by family on June 3, 2026.

Ken was born to Clifford and Mable Henderson in Brush, Colorado on July 27, 1944. Ken met Sharon Pflager at the A&W in Fort Morgan in 1959 and they were married on May 14, 1961. Ken worked for Canfield Water Well Service and then transitioned to the City of Fort Morgan as a lineman where he retired after 36 years of service where he lovingly considered his crew "his boys". Ken was an honorary fireman, helping the crews behind the scenes. Ken loved to fish, hunt, and camp. Ken was a man who never knew a stranger, he enjoyed bowling with his friends and Taco Tuesdays where he loved to brag about his big family.

More than anything, Ken loved to spend time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Mable Henderson, his father and mother-in-law Dale and Esther Pflager, his brother Jack Henderson, his sister Mable Smith, and his great-granddaughter Shree Henderson. Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Sharon; his children Kolleen (Brian) Kembel, Ryan (Pamela) Henderson, and Robert (Annie) Henderson; his grandchildren Kyle (Kari) Kembel, Tyler (Theresa) Kembel, Melinda (Beau) Fultz, Kelsey (Kaleb) Staley, Lindsey Henderson, Jared (Angela) Henderson, Dustin Henderson, Eric (Kala) Henderson, Chad Henderson, and Brandon Henderson; and his great-grandchildren Hailey Kembel, Drake Kembel, Lee Kembel, Greyson Fultz, Liam Fultz, Charles Fultz, Brylanne Fultz, Kase Staley, and Karson Staley.

Ken's children have childhood memories of arrowhead hunting, fishing trips, and pheasant hunts where they got to play the "bird dogs". His grandkids all have silly nicknames that they will forever keep and will remember him as being the man to take them camping and teach them naughty words, who was the best listener and their biggest fan, always reminding them how proud he was of their accomplishments in life.
