Kenneth Leroy Hernandez, 54, of Fort Morgan, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

He was born on September 4, 1966 in Fort Morgan to Edward and Rosina Hernandez.

Kenneth was a consistent national honor society recipient and carried two associate degrees. He spent 30 years of his career in medical coding and billing for the health community in Fort Morgan. He reluctantly retired due to his declining health.

Kenneth will be remembered as a big hearted, caring individual. He was a creative person, a passionate writer, and he loved to talk and visit with people. He loved doing musicals and just loved life in general. Kenneth will be dearly missed by his family. He was a very loved person and had many long-time work friends who were always good to him and there for him until the end.

He is survived by his mother, Rosina Hernandez; sister, Bev Hernandez; brother, Edward D. Hernandez; and his niece, Nicole Williams, all of Fort Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Hernandez; some of his aunts and uncles, and his grandparents on both sides of the family.

Recitation of The Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, January 25 ^th at 5:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, January 26 ^th at 10:30 AM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
