KENNETH ARTHUR MARTIN, 58, former Fort Morgan resident, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006 in Thornton. He was born March 13, 1948 in Redding, CA to Robert & Floretta (Simmons) Martin. He married Irene Temple on June 6, 1989. Mr. Martin moved to Fort Morgan from Redding in 1980 and moved to Denver in 1985. He served in the U.S. Army. At the time of his death, Mr. Martin was a Janitor for the Denver Post. Martin enjoyed fishing, camping, and gambling. He also liked to play horseshoes and he enjoyed building things. He is survived by two daughters; Jacqueline Temple of Fort Morgan and Rachel Martin of California, four sons; Joshua Temple of Northglenn, Douglas Adamson of Aurora, Jason Martin and Aaron Martin, both of California, and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Temple. A funeral service will be Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel, 222 Cameron St., Brush. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan with Military Honors by the V.F.W. Post 2551. Memorial gifts may be made in Martin's name in care of the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
