Kenny Weimer of Fort Morgan passed away on January 20th, 2018 in his home. He was 60.

He was born in Fort Morgan on April 11, 1957 to Henry and Anna Mae (Preston) Weimer. He attend Fort Morgan schools until he started working for Kaiser Heating in 1975. He then worked multiple oil field jobs until he became a career electrician starting at David Electric. He ended his career at Wiggins Electric in 2014. He married his middle school sweetheart, Joanne (Jo) Kennedy on August 8th, 1986. They resided in Fort Morgan where they raised their two children.

Kenny spent his time with family, tinkering in the garage, maintaining his yard, and fixing anything he could as a jack of all trades. He enjoyed watching his kids sporting events, fishing, and spending time outside with his dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne; his two children, Sidney (Anthony) Cerise and Henry (Ailyn Ramos) Weimer; and five siblings, Karla Kelly, Sue (Dwight) Schriener, David Weimer, Alan Weimer, and DeeAnn (Tim) Tixier; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Weimer.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mike Weimer.

A memorial service and luncheon will be held at Fort Morgan Methodist Church on Saturday, January 27th at 10:00 am. A service at Serenity Falls Columbarium will be held the summer of 2018.
