Kent A. Trim, 64, longtime resident of the Woodrow community, died Sunday evening, November 17, 2019, near Last Chance, CO of injuries suffered in a homicide. He was born March 12, 1955 in Brush, CO to Dale & Betty Trim.
Kent graduated from Woodlin High School in 1973. He then attended Aimes community college for 2 years. Before returning to the Trim Family farm, Kent worked for the Ball Metal Corporation in Golden, CO from 1983 until 2007.
Kent enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar and was a member of the Lazy 3 4 band for a few years. He participated in a few bowling leagues over the years and bowled with his Father, Roy Dale Trim, in one league. Kent also enjoyed boating, riding go karts, basketball, watching the Broncos and just goofing off with his kids and grandkids. He acquired quite a rock collection during this trips. Mostly he enjoyed going to the motorcycle rally in Sturgis, SD, something he looked forward to every year following wheat harvest. He rarely missed going on this trip.
Survivors include his 3 sons, Adrian (Kirsten), Matthew (Brenna) and Nicholas (Melissa); 1 sister, Terry Trim; 1 brother, Tim (Cheryl) Trim; and 9 grandchildren, Belicia, Jerrica, Loren, Hazel, Hunter, Brady, Ryen, Christian, and Caden. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush on Monday, November 25, 2019, at 10:30 AM. Concluding services and interment will be in the Glen Cemetery, south of Lindon, CO at 2:30 PM. Visitation will be at the Heer Chapel on Sunday, November 24, from 2 – 4 PM.
