Kevin William George, 47, was born on September 26, 1975 in Brush, Colorado and passed away in his sleep January 20, 2023.

Keven is survived in death by three daughter, Ashley George, Aubre George, and Brooke (Teggan) Freauff; one grandson, Henry; his mother and father, Bill & Sharon George; his sister, Stephanie (Damon)Stover; three nephews, DJ, Breydan, and Jaryn; chosen brother, Richie Davis; and his dog, Shadow.

He was preceded in death by cousin Cameron Alexander; grandparents Bill & Lois George, and Maurice and Edith Peterson; and two beloved dogs, Blake and Cooper.

Kevin had a quiet presence and a big heart. He loved his daughters and spoke fondly of them often. He would tell how proud he was of each of them and their independent natures. He was so excited to be a grandpa. He was continually reminding Brook to send updated photos so he could be involved, until they would be returning to Colorado in the Spring.

At the time of his passing, Kevin was a Plant Be Specialist B for Xcel at the Pawnee Power Plant in Brush. He was a dedicated worker, putting in long hours and could be counted on to add an overtime shift anytime needed.

Kevin enjoyed many hobbies. He used Aubre as a guinea pig for his homebrewed craft beers and homemade wines. Stephanie was honored with on of the first wines. Due to his schedules, it was allowed to ferment a little longer than it was supposed to – it was still a tasty wine.

He was a hoplophile, he not only collected guns, he built some himself. He loved his time at the shooting range with Richie, Sara, Jaryn, Aubre, Stephanie and anyone who was willing to go with him.

Travel had become a new interest in recent years. He was making up for lost time by making several trips to visit family and with friends. He saw both coasts in the last year alone. His parents and sister accompanied him to visit family. He also did several excursions with friends. His last trip was in October to visit his oldest daughter, Ashley. They explored her favorite spots in California.

When he wasn't working, he enjoyed participating in activities with family. We enjoyed game nights, escape rooms and ghost adventures together.

The family invites you to attend a Celebration of Life at noon, Friday, January 27 at the Riverview School, 19201 MCR 24, Brush, CO. Casual attire. A reception will follow the service. Please join us to share stories and enjoy Kevin's favorite food, pizza from the Mav.
