Kevinne Ray Sears, 62, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on March 4, 2024, in Fort Morgan, CO. He was born in Logan, West Virginia, on March 17, 1961, to Ray and Hattie Sears. His family relocated to Newark, New Jersey in 1971.

After Graduating High School at Weequahic High School, Kevinne went to Essex College where he got his associates. Kevinne joined the army and was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He was sent to Fort Carson, CO, where he received several honors. While serving there, he met Mary Ann Zupancic. They were together for 18 years. After his honorable discharge from the service, he worked at Cargill for 30 years.

Kevinne was preceded in death by his grandparents, C.L. and Sally; and his father Ray.  He is survived by his mother, Hattie Sears of Fort Morgan, CO; sister, Dr. Charlena Sears of Montclair, NJ; his son Kevin Jr (Daisy) of Fort Morgan, CO; daughters, Angel Sears (Eddie) of Fort Morgan, CO Flamay Gallegos of Pueblo, CO, Sylvia (Adrian) Lyons of Aurora, CO, Shaina Downing of Parker, CO; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a niece, Jazlyn (Louis) Raggio of Berkley, CA.

A memorial service will be held at Heer Mortuary in Brush, CO on Wednesday, March 13, at 12:00 pm.
