Kris Ann Clayton, 32, died suddenly in her sleep on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at her home. She was born June 24, 1974, in French Camp, CA. She moved to Fort Morgan with her family in 1993. Prior to health challenges in her life, Kris Ann worked as a certified nurse assistant. Among health care facilities that she worked at was the Beehive in Fort Morgan. Survivors include 1 daughter, Nickole Clayton of Fort Morgan; her parents, John & Nancy McDougall of Fort Morgan; her fiancé, Jerry Saxe of Fort Morgan; 1 sister, Suzanne Cervantes of Fort Morgan; and 2 brothers, Bill McDougall of Fort Morgan, and Mike McDougall, currently serving in the US Army of Fort Morgan. A memorial service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at the Sanctuary, 330 State Street in Fort Morgan. The service will conclude at the church. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary is handling cremation arrangements.
