Krisstine Ellen (Holman) Dixon, 71, of Brush, Co. passed away unexpectedly June 7th. 2026, in the comfort of her home.

Krisstine Ellen (Holman) Dixon was born on April 6, 1955, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Allen Woodford "Woody" Holman Sr. and June May (Scott) Holman. In 1960, the family moved to Greeley, Colorado, and later settled in Brush, Colorado, in 1966. Kriss attended Brush schools and graduated from Brush High School in 1973.

Following graduation, Kriss returned to Nebraska, where she worked for Russell Stover Candies for a short time. She later returned to Brush, where she began dating the boy next door, the love of her life, Keith "Steve" Dixon. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family, recently celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in January.

Kriss spent much of her career serving others through customer service positions. She worked at Crane's Café, Tasty Freeze, Kmart, and Brush Market, while also selling Tupperware. She eventually joined Walmart in Fort Morgan, Colorado, where she worked for 17 years before retiring.

Kriss enjoyed playing bingo, trying her luck at slot machines, bowling, and playing dominoes. In her younger years, she loved roller skating (go flash). She was a devoted fan of her daytime "stories" and Hallmark movies. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson. She never let anyone forget that she was the oldest sibling—and therefore the one in charge.

Kriss was always there when family, friends, neighbors, or anyone in need needed a helping hand or a listening ear. She helped babysit and raise" what she lovingly referred to as" many nieces, nephews, and neighborhood kids. Her home was always a welcoming place where everyone felt loved and accepted.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Keith "Steve" Dixon; her children, Steven (Jamie) Dixon, Jamie (DJ) Banks, and Kevin Dixon; her six granddaughters, Jordyn, Adrienne, Bailey, Jenna, Kaebry, and Holland; and her great-grandson, Kash.

She is also survived by her brothers, Allen (Leslie) Holman JR. and Rodney (Karen) Holman; her sisters, Roxanna (Gaylen) Krueger, Sandra Holman, and Jodean Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Faye Garner and Beatrice Dixon.

Kriss was preceded in death by her parents; her parents-in-law; her grandparents; three brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; three nieces; two nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Kriss was deeply loved by so many and will be remembered for her kindness, strength, humor, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and the countless memories she created. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 15th at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Inurnment will follow in Brush Memorial Cemetery and then a gathering will be held at the Jaycee Building in Brush, and all are invited to attend. Please feel free to bring a side dish or dessert.
