Kurt D. Schilling, 52, of Brush, died of injuries suffered in a semi-truck / train collision near Gilcrest, CO on Wednesday, May 30, 2007. He was born February 12, 1955, in Brush, to Robert & Shirley Schilling. He graduated from Brush High School in 1974. After spending a couple of years in Arizona, Kurt moved back to Brush and began his career as a truck driver. At the time of his death, Kurt leased his truck to Doty Farms. Truck driving was his passion in life. He also enjoyed spending time with family & friends. Survivors include his Mother, Shirley Schilling of Brush; 1 son, Adam, of Phoenix, AZ; 1 brother, Craig Schilling of Loveland; and 1 sister, Becky Bailey of Littleton; He was preceded in death by his Father, Bob Schilling. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 4, 2007, at 10:30 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 603 Custer Street in Brush. Inurnment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
