Larry E. Rothe 60, of Ft. Morgan, died at his home Tuesday morning. He was born June 28, 1947 in Greeley to Elmer and Mildred Rothe. He graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1965 and from the Colorado State University in 1970. Larry married Mary Anne Carson December 4, 1971 in Littleton. They moved to Ft. Morgan in 1973 where he has been farming until his death. Larry was a member of the Saint Charles Episcopal Church in Ft. Morgan. He has been on the board of directors for G.A.S.P. and the Wiggins Co-op. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Mary Anne of Ft. Morgan, his children Matthew Rothe of Palo Alto, CA, Nathan Rothe of Golden, and Kelly Rothe of Sacramento, CA. his mother Mildred Rothe of Greeley, And two brothers Kenneth Rothe of Weldona, and Kevin Rothe of Greeley. He was preceded in death by an infant son Brian Andrew Rothe and his father. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at the Saint Charles Episcopal Church.
