Larry W. Roye, 69, longtime area resident, died Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan.

Larry was born April 2, 1948 in Herrin, Illinois to John and Wilma (King) Roye.

He married Marie Hoyer-Roche on August 23, 1988 in Fort Morgan.

Larry enjoyed watching television, taking walks, camping, traveling, and could be seen in Walmart several times a week.

Larry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include, his wife Marie, of Fort Morgan, son, Larry W. Roye Jr., of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, step-daughter, Lisa Langley of Fort Morgan, one brother, Michael Roye of Kansas, and one sister, Karen who lives in Illinois, and grandchildren, Jessica Mares of Casper, Wyoming, Krista Mares of Greeley, Amanda Roche of Fort Morgan, and Olivia who lives in Steamboat Springs, and one great grandchild, Masyn Mares.

Larry was preceded in death by a son, John Michael Roye, and his parents.

There will be cremation and at this time, no memorial services are scheduled.
