Larry Weimer, 80, passed away on February 8, 2025 at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush.

Larry was born on February 12, 1944 in Brush to John and Ruth Weimer. He married Jeral-Kay (Jeri) Dodge on April 15, 1962.

Larry was a natural farmer, whether he was on the farm or at their home, where he had flowers and his vegetable garden. He was a member of the First Christian Church and served as a deacon. He also belonged to the Fort Morgan Saddle Club and River Bottom Club. Larry loved fishing, archery, trap shooting and golfing. He also loved building things and spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by his wife, Jeri; children, Carrie (Dwane) Brening, Craig (Cindy) Weimer; sister, Evelyn Columbia; grandchildren, Jyll (Levi) Queen, Kodi (Bill) Mundt, Kaitlin Weimer, Shelby Weimer, Emily Weimer, Josh Warner, Matt Warner, Donnie Warner; ten great grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Weimer; father and mother-in-law, Russell and Ruby Dodge; brothers, Marvin Weimer, John Weimer, Leslie Weimer; brother-in-law, Etson Schwindt; brother-in-law, Larry Columbia; sister-in-law, Claudia Dodge; nephews, Heath Chesney, Jeff Schwint and Mike Glen.

A funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 10:30 AM at First Christian Church 225. W. Bijou Avenue, Fort Morgan, CO. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
