Laura Danielson, 93, former Morgan County resident, passed away April 21, 2009, at the Arkansas Valley Nursing Care Center in LaJunta, Colorado. She was born in Brush on May 31, 1915, to Peter and Mary Zurawski. While living in Morgan County, Laura was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brush for 90 years. After moving to LaJunta, she was a member of the Mission Lutheran Church for nearly 4 years. She enjoyed working in her garden and fishing. Survivors include her son, Jeris Danielson of LaJunta, grandchildren, Debra Sprong, and her husband Todd, of Kennewick, WA, Karen Morgan, and her husband Pat, of Arvada, CO; Krista Pieper and her husband, Steve, of Litchfield Park, AZ, and her 3 great grandchildren, Jaron Sprong, Cody Morgan, and Kaylie Pieper. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Ivan Danielson, a sister, Mary Clark, and her parents. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2009, at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 603 Custer Street in Brush. The inurnment service will be at the Brush Memorial Cemetery at 10:00 AM Saturday, prior to the memorial service.
