Laura Dewey my wife of 36 years passed away peacefully Dec 21, 2022 in Greeley Colorado at the age of 68. As a teenager she worked as a carhop, in an ice-cream shop and the lab at Montfort Feedlots. She first found her love for working closely with people as a Tittle Clerk at Edwards Chevrolet in Greeley Co. After moving to Morgan County Laura worked as the office manager for Centennial Mental Health for seven years.

Laura spent 28 years as a Coordinator of the Specialty Clinic at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. She loved her job, the physicians, the staff at the hospital and had a genuine interest in patients' welfare. It was natural because Laura just plain loved people. She made many friends, both patient and professional. Laura loved animals, her 8 pound chihuahua Bruiser, four cats and "The Girls" her chickens. She also loved going to a friend's ranch every calving season.

Cooking was one of Laura's specialties, and she loved to see people enjoy meals and deserts she had cooked. Laura also filled the house with plants which up until her illness she tended to with great care. Flowers were her weakness; she couldn't quite get enough of pretty flowers.

Laura will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 36 years Alfred Dewey, her mother Joyce, (son) Steven Kisselman, (daughter) Brenda Stone, (Step-Daughter) Tricia Dewey, (step-son) Shaun Dewey, (Brother) Ron Cox and (Sister) Jeanette.

Laura asked that she be cremated and put in a pretty urn with flowers on it. She wanted no somber service and asked that only a family memorial be held. "She was my rock, my port in any storm, I loved her very much and will miss her."
