Obituary

Laura Belle Ingmire, age 91, died on December 10, 2020.  She was born on August 9, 1929 in Brush, CO, the 5 th of 6 children of Orville and Ethel (Suttle) Eicher.

Laura attended Brush Schools and graduated with the Class of 1948.  She married her high school sweetheart, Elton Ingmire, on June 6, 1948.  They were married for over 53 years until his passing.  She worked at several Brush establishments, including Duckwalls, Montgomery Ward, and Driscoll Truckline.  She also was a bookkeeper and worked alongside her husband in the insurance business for over 20 years, until her retirement in 1989.

Laura was a life member of the Brush Methodist Church and served as bookkeeper for the church for many years.  She was also a member of the East Morgan County Auxiliary, and past member of the Bunker Hill Country Club, Brush Fire Belles, Brush Jayceette's, and Red Hat Society.  She loved to bowl and golf, do needlework projects and enjoyed the annual camping trips with fellow campers and family, as well as enjoyed the winter months in Arizona with her husband.  She was an avid fan of the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos.  She was known for her cooking skills, with the family always enjoying her homemade Chicken and Noodles at Christmas and her chocolate pies for about any occasion.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Dale (Connie) and David; Grandchildren, Ty (Natalie) Ingmire, Lucas (Andrea) Ingmire, Kinsey (Drew) Tedford, and Eric (Amanda) Ingmire, as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Jared, Elizabeth, and Aubrey; and Sister, Marian Christensen.  She was predeceased by her husband, Elton, son, Daniel, her parents, and 4 brothers, Lee, Paul, Richard, and Robert.

Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 1:30 PM at the Brush Memorial Cemetery Interment Chapel.  Family requests that all who attend please wear a facemask as a result of current pandemic guidelines.  The service will conclude at the Interment Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.  Memorial gifts may be directed to the Brush United Methodist Church, East Morgan County Auxiliary, or Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in care of Heer Mortuary.
