Laura Lauraine Troyer, 79, of Ft. Morgan, died Monday afternoon at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, CO. She was born October 25, 1932 on the family ranch in Holyoke, CO , to Clarence and Mona (Barkey) Stanley. The family moved to Ft. Morgan in 1943 where she met L.W. "Bill" Troyer. They were married on June 19, 1951, they were married for 60 years. Laura enjoyed being with her family, gardening, canning and crocheting. She is survived by her husband L.W. "Bill" Troyer, , two sisters Beulah Owens of Holyoke, CO., and Virginia Connor of Pueblo, CO., one brother Delmar Stanley of Weaubleau, MO., four children, Larry Troyer and Jan Shepard both of Rock Springs, WY, Anita Cornwell and Deb Troyer both of Ft. Morgan, CO., 6 grandchildren, Tia Ziegler, Alisha Stansall, Shaun Stansall, Kristen Snyder, Eric Harper and Lesa Webb, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers, and one granddaughter Tara Cornwell. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at the All Saints Lutheran Church in Brush, CO. Interment will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Ft. Morgan, CO.
