Laurie Jolliffe, 54, of Estes Park, died suddenly Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood. Ms. Jolliffe was born July 8th, 1956 in Fort Morgan to F.D. "Pat" and Joan Jolliffe. She graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1974. She received her B.A in Art from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa in 1978. She later received her M.A and her M.F.A. from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. Her concentration was in graphic design, painting and illustration. Laurie taught at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio and Southwest Oklahoma University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. At the time of her death, Laurie was working in hotel management in Estes Park. Survivors include her mother, Joan Jolliffe, of Fort Morgan and her sister, Jody Kind, of Fort Collins, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her father, F.D. "Pat" Jolliffe, and her grandparents. An inurnment service will be held at Serenity Falls Columbarium on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 10:30 AM.
