Obituary

Lee M. Foley, 77, longtime area resident, died Saturday, November 25, 2006 at his home in Brush. He was born August 22, 1929 in Brighton, Colorado to Leroy and Helen (Sheets) Foley. He graduated from Wiggins High School. He married Arlene A. Bristol on August 22, 1955 in Golden, Colorado. Lee was a past member of the Orchard Odd Fellows Lodge. He liked hunting, fishing, tinkering with old tractors and watching sports and old time westerns on TV. Lee enjoyed taking care of the cattle he had on his place. Survivors include his wife Arlene of Brush, four daughters, Verna Foley of Brush, Darlene Riddle of Ft. Morgan, Norma Foley-Herrera of Brighton and Melissa Franklin of Fruita, three sisters, Ruth Foley and Eunice Kobobel both of Greeley and Ruby Bristol of Ft. Morgan, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond, George, Kenneth and Elwood Foley and two sisters, Margaret Scoggins and Velma Pfister. Funeral Services will be Friday, December 1, 2006 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Ft. Morgan. There will be a visitation on Thursday, November 30, 2006 from 10 until 5 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush.
