Leonard Roy Schlagel, 79, died on October 8, 2018 at his home in Merino. He was born on September 3, 1939 in Milliken to John Jacob & Katherine Schlagel.

Leonard was a member of the British White Cattle Association and had been a bus driver for the NJC girls' basketball team. His dog Dasha was very special to him.

Leonard is survived by his sister, Viola (Jack) Shoemaker; special friends, Maxine Crandell and Heather Buchtel.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Eugene Schlagel.

A Graveside Service will be Monday, October 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Linn Grove Cemetery in Greeley.
