Leonardo Sisneros, 71, longtime resident of Fort Morgan, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 18, 2016.

He was born April 13, 1944 in Abo, NM to Leonardo and Gregorita Sisneros. On November 17, 1973 he married the love of his life, Zirita Ham in Albuquerque, NM. During his younger years he loved his job as a furniture salesman at the local Five-Three Furniture Store. After retirement he took a great interest in watching T.V., particularly old western shows, football games, and his daily "story" of The Young and Restless. He loved every minute he got to spend with his family, especially the grandkids and great-grandkids.

Leonardo is survived by his wife Zirita; six children, Rennie Johnson, Dino Sisneros, Gilbert Sisneros, Christine Gallegos, Geraldine Sisneros-Martin and Michael Sisneros; one sister, Stella Marquez; one brother, Vincente Sisneros; 19 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a large number of extended family.

He was preceded in death one brother Jose Sisneros and his parents.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Brush Cemetery Interment Chapel at 10:00 AM.
