LEOTA FAYE MCDANIEL, 44, of Brush, died Sunday night, September 20, 2009 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born December 6, 1964 in Boulder. Leota married Robin McDaniel on August 29, 1981. They came to the Morgan County area from Loveland fourteen years ago. Mrs. McDaniel most recently worked as an Administrative Assistant for Pepsi. She attended Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. She enjoyed scrapbooking, baking, gardening, and photography. She especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter. She is survived by her husband, Robin McDaniel of Brush; three daughters and their husbands, Samantha & Luis Godinez of Brush, Alicia & Jon Davies of Centennial, and Leota & Steve Buckman of Fort Collins; her mother, Jean Lemberg of Brush; three sisters, Lena Ragsdale of Brush, Iva Lemberg of Erie and Viola Sherratt of Longmont. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Merari Godinez of Brush. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 – 7 PM with a Rosary Vigil at 7:00 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Services will be Friday at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 340 Stanford St., Brush. Services will conclude at the church. Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. McDaniel's name and sent to Heer & Dahl Mortuary, 222 Cameron Street, Brush, CO 80723.
