Obituary

Lee Crawford, my husband of 44 years, passed peacefully from Earth on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the age of 79.

Lee's requests were cremation, no somber obituary, and no formal services. I am honoring those wishes.

Lee lived his life enthusiastically and was always in search of his next adventure. His career in the seismic industry made that possible. He and I were able to see many parts of the country, make a lot of good memories, and give him a chance to enjoy his passion of "junkin'."

Inside the often gruff exterior was a sensitive, giving heart and a keen sense of humor. He often befriended those in need; both human and animal.

A debilitating stroke five years ago drastically changed his life. Because he could no longer drive or travel, his heart and spirit were broken.

Please remember him sitting, drinking his Diet Pepsi, watching a beautiful Utah sunset with "the sky on fire" and his Great Pyrenees, Cooter, by his side.

Thank you to all the people who have supported us, cared for us and helped us. I am grateful to everyone who made this journey easier for us.

To the staff at East Morgan County Hospital; I am grateful for the care and compassion we received during Lee's last days. We could not have wished for more during this difficult time.

My deepest appreciation to Drs. Anne and Tom Manchester, and Katie Taylor of St. Elizabeth's Hospital and to Dr. Christy Young and Jennifer Castenada of UC Health Neurology, for giving Lee the best medical and personal support he could have received during the past several years, and for supporting me as well.

Be at peace, my husband. Thank you for sharing your life with me,

Shirley
