LeRoy Alvin Koch, 77, of Wiggins, passed away at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley with family by his side on January 16, 2018.

He was born to Walter Alvin and Murial Ann (Vahldick) Koch, in Denver Colorado. He met the love of his life Cindy Rae Riedy, and married her on November 18, 1961. They shared 56 beautiful years of marriage. LeRoy was a faithful and loving father to 3 children. He enjoyed spending time watching ball games and NASCAR. He also enjoyed cooking and took advantage of anytime to spend with his family.

LeRoy graduated from Meritt Hutton High School in Thornton, Colorado in 1958. He started his career in the National Guard for 6 years. He then became a boiler maker with his father. LeRoy was blessed with the ability to drive a truck for 30 years, after which, and called by the Lord, he started his ministry by establishing the Grace Baptist Church in Deer Trail, Colorado, as well as the Watkins Truck Stop Ministry. He always made time to spread God's word at Wiggins Assisted Living. He was also pastor at the New Raymer Baptist Church and was the prayer leader at Summit Baptist Church.

LeRoy will be remembered for his generosity, his open and honest heart, and his forgiving nature.

He is survived by his wife Cindy, his children Kelly Washington (Bill), Glen Koch (Tina), and LeAnne Gamet (Shane), his sister Ruth Ann Macy, 6 grandchildren, Destinie Stapleton, Linden 'Louis' Washington, Shelby Koch, Rylee Koch, Tearza Gamet, and Kadin Gamet. He had 5 great grandchildren, Shjon Langford, William Washington, Hayden Bowker, Elijah Washington and Zander Bowker.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Neal and Kenneth Koch, and the finest dog in Wiggins, Charlie.

For all the prayers he sent to others his family requests a prayer back to him and his family.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Summit Baptist Church in Wiggins. Services will conclude at the church.
