Leslie Leroy Holland, 83, died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Valley View Villa Care Center in Ft. Morgan. He was born December 10, 1923 in Onawa, Iowa to Leslie and Florence (Goodwin) Holland. Leslie grew up in Illinois. He moved to this area from Boulder in 1979. He was a member of the Pipe Fitters Local # 208 and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his partner, Kaye Harford of Ft. Morgan, step-mother, Ethel Broyles of Tucson, Arizona, one daughter, Tammy Walker of Wiggins, two sons, Todd Holland and Monty Holland both of Wiggins, one brother, Larry Holland of Annapolis, Maryland, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son and his sister, Alta Holland. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Services will conclude at the mortuary. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
