Lida B. Westhoff-Beauprez, 93, long time Morgan County resident, died Friday at the Bridge Assisted Living Center in Greeley. She was born February 16, 1918 in Ft. Morgan to William and Ellen Brandt. She married Louis Westhoff February 21, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri. They made their home in Hoyt where they farmed and Lida worked for the Western Sugar Company at the Hoyt beet dump weighing trucks and for the Hoyt post office. She was also a Secretary for the Wiggins School District for 20 years. Louis died in 1971. Lida then married Maurice Beauprez in 1975. Maurice died in 2000. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where she played the organ for many years, a charter member of the Home Circle Club, and an honorary member of the Merry Mixers Square Dancers. She is survived by her children Jo-Anne Rohn-Cook and Patricia Frihauf both of Wiggins, Bertie Loose of Marana, AZ, William Westhoff of Denver and Mary Graves of Greeley, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, 1 son James T. Westhoff, 1 grandson Bill Richards, 1 brother Donald Brandt, 1sister Doris Martin, and her parents. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Wiggins. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30 am with interment to follow in the Hoyt Cemetery.
