Lila Marie Foiles, 88, of Brush, died Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the Hansen Apartments at Eben Ezer in Brush. She was born May 11, 1921 in Abbott, Colorado to Joseph and Martha (Hauge) Mock. Lila lived most of her life in Washington and Morgan Counties except for the two years she spent at college in California. She graduated from Brush High School with the class of 1939. Lila taught school from 1946-1951 in the towns of Hillrose, Gary and Morey. Lila married Roy Foiles on December 19, 1953 in Sterling. He died May 6, 1985. She enjoyed spending time with her friends. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy, brothers, Torval, Darrell, Maynard and Irving Mock and her sister, Florence Small Craig. Visitation Thursday, June 11, 2009, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM also at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
