Lillian Jean Fritzler passed away peacefully on December 7 th , 2018 at the family farm northwest of Fort Morgan Colorado.
She was born March 24,1928 at home, north of the Riverside to Henry J and Katherine (Bernhardt) Weimer. Lillian was the oldest of 5 children.
Lillian married Gabriel Fritzler on March 25, 1951 at Zion Lutheran church in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
Lillian's greatest joy was her family and living on the family farm. She was very active and helped Gabe and the boys farm the land. It wasn't unusual to see Lillian setting irrigation tubes or driving the truck during harvest. No job was to big or too small. She loved to crochet, sew, take care of her flower and vegetable garden and cook German food for her family.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Gabriel, her son Alan, son in law Denny Schlessinger, brothers, Donald, Robert, and Edward Weimer, and one sister, Carol Kauffman.
Lillian is survived by her daughter, Glenda Schlessinger of Los Lunas, New Mexico, her grandson Kenny Schlessinger and fiancee J'Ana of Arkansas and her son Grayson and his wife Marcia of Fort Morgan, grandchildren Shawna Moser Mese (Mike)of Milliken CO, Bobby Moser and fiancée Ginia of Orchard Co. and Krisitin Gibson of Brighton Co. Lillian also loved and is survived by her nieces and nephews.
Lillian's Celebration of Life will be December 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Elevating Life Church in Fort Morgan, CO. Pastor Drake Hunter will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the families wish that gifts be made to Hospice of the Plains. 100 Broadway Suite 1-A, Sterling CO 80751.
