Lillian Longacre, 79, Life long Ft. Morgan resident died Monday at her home north of Ft. Morgan . She was born May 26, 1929 at her families home south of Ft. Morgan to Samuel J. and Christina Wacker. On March 5, 1950 she married Walter E. Longacre. They enjoyed farming, checking cattle, and fixing fence together for many years. She also enjoyed raising chickens and milking cows. Walter became ill and passed away in January. Lillian was confirmed in the Christ Congregational Church when she was 16 years old. Her hobbies include sewing, embroidering, growing flowers, gardening and canning home grown fruits and vegetables. She is survived by her children Carol Conrad of Bear River, WY, Wally Longacre of Ft. Morgan, Willy Longacre of Loveland, and Betty Longacre, John Longacre, and Donald Longacre all of Ft. Morgan, 4 sisters, Marjorie Poe of Sharon Sprins, KS, Johanna Windolph of Hillrose, and Bernice Turcott and Grace Davis both of Ft. Morgan, 3 brothers, Samuel Wacker of Blue Belle, Utah, and Wendel Wacker and Edwin Wacker both of Ft. Morgan, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, and her parents. A visitation will be held on Friday from 1-6 pm at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at the Grace Bible Church in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
