Obituary

Lillian K. Seaman, 81, life resident of Northeast Colorado, passed away suddenly Sunday, August 16, 2009, at her home near Hillrose, CO. She was born March 1, 1928, in Kirk, Colorado to Henry & Agnes Klassen. Lillian grew up in Joes & Kirk, Colorado, and came from a proud stock of farmers. She graduated from Joes High School and later attended Aims Community College in Greeley. Prior to retirement, Lillian worked in the billing department at North Colorado Medical Center. Lillian was baptized as a Christian at the Hillrose Community Church, which she joined, became active in the various women's ministries, and enjoyed the fellowship of her many friends in the area. She enjoyed working in her yard and garden. Her most precious times were spent with her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Survivors include her 4 children, Christine Coach, and her companion, Bill, of Cheyenne, WY, Connie Alexander, and her husband, Don, of Phoenix, AZ, Henry Seaman, and his wife Shannon, of Hillrose, and Rodney Seaman, and his wife, Becky, of Joes, CO; 3 sisters, Katie Klassen, of Topeka, KS, Jane Herbert, and her husband, Don, of Goessel, KS, and Jo Larson of Greeley, CO, and 1 brother, Arnie Klassen of Topeka, KS,; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren (and 2 more on the way), and 1 great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 21, 2009, at 10:00 AM at the Hillrose Community Church. Concluding services and inurnment will be in the Mennonite Cemetery near Joes, CO at 3:00 PM. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Hillrose Community Church.
