Linda Sue "Mogo" Elliott, 65, longtime Fort Morgan resident, passed away at the Valley View Villa, in Fort Morgan, CO, on April 8, 2015. She is now happily dancing with Elvis. Sue was born in Grand Junction, CO on July 10, 1949. Affectionately known as "Mogo" she enjoyed crafting, camping, taking care of her dogs and spending time with her family. A graduate of Akron, CO High School, Sue devoted nearly 24 years of her life to the City of Fort Morgan, between working at the museum and eventually retiring from the Fort Morgan Police Department. She is survived by her three kids; Lonny Elliott & wife Heidi of Fort Morgan, CO, Jamie "Jay" Elliott & girlfriend Lisa of Denver, CO, and Tina Elliott-Mese of Fort Morgan, CO. Mogo is also survived by grandchildren: Jessica and her fiancé Andrew, Brad, Kendall, Kayla & husband Mike, Katjia, Jastyn, Amanda, Isaiah, Aliyah, Marina, Marisa, and Tahlia, and 12 great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Chester and Geneva Jo Farris of Akron, CO, and great-grandson, , Zayden. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25th at 2:00 pm at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan at 225 E. Platte Ave Fort Morgan, CO 80701. Sue and family request that you wear casual clothing and attire from her favorite team, the Denver Broncos. An urn will be placed in a plot next to her mom and dad in the Akron, CO cemetery. Later this summer, the family will gather to spread her ashes at her favorite camping spot, Camp Dick, per her wishes.
