Linda Jean Goddard, 74, of Brush went home to be with Jesus on September 12, 2024. A family memorial service is planned at a later date.

Linda was born in Steamboat Springs, Colorado on January 13, 1950 to David and Pearl Powell. She grew up in many different towns ranging from Seminole, Texas to Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Her family moved to Cut Bank, Montana in the mid 1960's where she graduated high school.

Linda and her first husband Jack Goddard raised their two sons on the Colorado Western Slope and Montana. She spent her life as a homemaker; she enjoyed baking and was an amazing cook. Linda had a strong faith and enjoyed attending church with her family.  Linda spent the last few years of her life at a care facility in Brush, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Pearl Powell; and husband, Toby Vialpando.

Linda is survived by two sons, Dave (Patricia) Goddard of Wiggins, and Doug Goddard of Montrose; three brothers, Dave (Becky) Powell of Helena, Montana, Bill (Lori) Powell of Perryton, Texas and Mike Powell of Cut Bank, Montana: four grandchildren, Colby and Jacob Goddard of Montrose, Logan and Megan Goddard of Wiggins.

Psalm 147:3 states, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds".

Revelation 21:4 states, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away"
