Obituary

Linda Lou Kolman, 73, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025 in Brush, Colorado. Born in Wray, Colorado on August 29, 1952, Linda was the cherished daughter of Leonard and Iona Mae Erdman Redden.

She graduated from Brush High School in 1970 and married the love of her life, Larry Joe Kolman, on June 27, 1971. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and service.

Linda devoted her life to caring for children and supporting families in her community. She operated Foster Day Care from 1980 to 1993, worked at Shores Food/Brush Market from 1992 to 1997, and continued her passion for childcare from 1997 until her passing. Her commitment to early childhood education was reflected in her active involvement with the Morgan County Day Care Association and the Colorado State Day Care Association, as well as her pursuit of continuing education through Northeastern Junior College and Morgan County Community College.

A faithful member of Rankin Presbyterian Church since 1971, Linda served in many roles, including Kids Klub and Sunday School teacher from 1997 to 2022. She was ordained as a Deacon in 1997 and as an Elder in 2004, demonstrating her deep commitment to her faith and church community.

Linda also enjoyed bowling and was a proud member of the Brush Women's Bowling Association, where she formed lasting friendships and shared many joyful moments.

Her legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for her family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her sons, Joel, and Josh (Jill) Kolman; grandchildren, JR (Jessica) Kolman, Tucker (Les) Kolman, Dakota (Shawn) Branch, Wyatt (Charlene) Kolman, Lane (Karisa) Kolman, Jenna Kolman, Joseph Graham, Oliver and Sopia Hambleton, Abby and Ayden Baughman, and Lucian Kumke; great grandchildren, Callie Kolman, Raegan Kolman, Walker Branch, Bella Kolman, and Ryker Kolman. She is also survived by her sisters, Judy (Doug) Paul, and Debbie (Terry) Dowis; aunt Dorothy Lawson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Rankin Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by a luncheon and time of fellowship to honor Linda's life.
