Lisa Ann Schocke, 45, longtime area resident died, after a long battle with cancer, on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at her home in Ft. Morgan. She was born July 25, 1964 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Mason and Barbara (Weimer) Cranford. She married Doug Schocke on April 1, 1989 in Ft. Morgan. Lisa enjoyed cooking, crafts, sewing, puzzles, playing softball, watching game shows on TV and playing games. She also volunteered at preschool and grade school when her children were little. Survivors include her husband, Doug Schocke of Ft. Morgan, her children, Douglas Schocke and Macy Schocke both of Ft. Morgan, one sister, Cora Jackson of Sterling, three brothers, Ed Cranford and James Cranford both of Ft. Morgan, Terry Cranford who lives in California and Doug's parents Alma & Darrell Schocke of Ft. Morgan. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Cranford. Memorial Services will be Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Ft. Morgan. Services will conclude at the church. There will be a private inurnment at a later date. Memorial Gifts may be made to the Schocke Memorial Fund at the Ft. Morgan State Bank in Ft. Morgan. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary & Crematory in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
