Obituary

Lonnie Ray Jackson, 66, of Ft. Morgan, died Sunday, February 3, 2008 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born April 10, 1941 in Sterling to Samuel and Gertrude (Ahrens) Jackson. Lonnie married Ila Neitz on June 6, 1964 in Sidney, Nebraska. He had lived in Ft. Morgan since 1970 coming here from Commerce City. Lonnie enjoyed fishing and sports. He especially liked watching the Broncos, Rockies and the Huskers. Survivors include his wife Ila of Ft. Morgan, four brothers, Robert Jackson and George Jackson both of Sterling, David Jackson of Denver, Duane Jackson of Ft. Morgan, five sisters, Mary Evers of Sedgwick, Betty Anderson of Guymon, Oklahoma, Hazel Lambrecht of Sterling, Linda Kallenberger of Thomson, Illinois and Ila Spencer of Petaluma, California. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Lonnie Jackson Jr. and three brothers, Lester, Alan and Ronald Jackson. Memorial Services will be Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 2:30 PM at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Services will conclude at the mortuary. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the charity of their choice in Lonnie's name. Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements
