Lonnie V. Thomas, 34, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013, of injuries suffered in a one vehicle accident. He was born September 13, 1979, in Greeley, CO, to Tom & Janet Thomas. Following graduation from Wiggins High School in 1998, Lonnie attended, and graduated from, Colorado Aero Tech College. He worked as an airplane mechanic for several years for Hagen Aviation at Centennial Airport in Denver. Lonnie lived most of his life in the Wiggins community. He was confirmed at the Wiggins Community Church. He enjoyed being outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and skeet shooting. Survivors include his parents, Tom & Janet Thomas of Wiggins; 1 brother Shane, and his wife Ashley Thomas of Wiggins his grandmother, Maxine Thomas of Kilgore, TX; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at 10:30 AM at the Wiggins Eventer Center in Wiggins, CO. Private interment will be in the Hoyt Cemetery.
